For these homeowners, the first problem to solve was relocating the furnace from the basement to the first floor. In order to do this, we moved the laundry to a second-floor space to become a multi-use closet/laundry room. Storage was maximized with built-in closet and drawers systems. Lastly, we found a space in the mudroom to build a simple cherry bench with a kids’ show shelf and additional storage below.
