LivCo Wins NARI’s 2021 CotY Award
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recently announced its 2021 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award winners, naming LivCo as one of the recipients. Our remodeling experts were recognized in the Residential Addition Over $250,000 category for our work on this darling English cottage in Burr Ridge, Illinois.
About Our Award-Winning Remodeling Project
This particular client came to us feeling disconnected from their stunning surroundings. Their closed-off, dark kitchen made them feel claustrophobic and separated from their backyard. Not to mention, their growing family was causing them to run out of room fast!

Placing a two-story addition at the back of the home helped provide the increased space this family needed. By expanding the kitchen outward and connecting it to the backyard, we created a more natural flow between their indoor and outdoor spaces, complete with a folding patio door and a new covered deck. Included in the addition is a stair tower, allowing for a more open layout than the previously cramped second-floor space. Our team also remodeled the master suite and provided two fully remodeled bathrooms, leaving this family’s house feeling much more like home than when we found it!
Totaling just above $250,000, this whole home remodeling project in Illinois was a pleasure to complete. With all of the added space and functional features, this family can now enjoy their home for many years to come.
